Formerly “Ring Home” — Now “Ring Protect” Again

Ring states that Ring Home plans were renamed Ring Protect plans on January 14, 2026, and customers keep the same features through the transition.

Ring notes that reviewing recorded video requires a Ring subscription, and cloud storage can be up to 180 days (depending on your settings).

Alexa integration

Smart Home Convenience
